I'm not sure why, but I'm surprised that it wasn't localised as "Heartbeat Island". I wouldn't have minded that, but Doki Doki means a bit more if you're familiar with the onomatopoeia.

I forgot about the Foreign Content forum so I didn't think to look there first.
I saw a notice on Mabinogi's site about the content update, looked it up on the wiki, didn't find anything, and so I came here to what seemed to be the most relevant place to ask.
