After thinking about it for a while, I decided that I'd like to see Doki Doki Island become a permanent addition to the game. So, I posted a
thread about it. Feel free to show your support on that thread, to possibly improve the chances of this happening.
I personally like the amount of things on the island that are just fun to mess with, like the festival foods. What about you guys? Thoughts on this?

I like the Island a lot, too.
I sorta wish the soulmate thing, the campfire totem that gives the lovey dovey buff, and the neat food were permanent.
It seems like it'd be a nice addition to the game.
I do wish being a soulmate with someone, itself, gave some sort of bonus.

I'd also wouldn't mind if the Doki Doki Island became a permanent addition to the game. Not only is it a fun place to hang around, it does have a few nice things to do on it.

I agree, this game lacks permanent content.

Agreed. All marriage does is give a crap title.

It might be indirectly semi-permanent since you can make housing coupons and warp imps there.

Okay, another reason I'd like if this were to be permanent:
The foooood you can make from the things found on the island.
Silvervine tea is pretty nice for HP.
100% perfect is +100 HP, +15 int, and +15 dex
Boiling: 10% Silvervine Fruit, 90% Water
AND
Silvervine and Snapper
100% perfect is +100 HP, +50 Dex, +5 luck
Stir-frying: Silk Snapper 50%, Red Pepper Powder 15%, Leighean Gin 35%
I swearrrr, if the Festival Food skill were here....

warp imps and housing coupons = any event area permanent ;D

I second this idea. Having it be temporary seems like something of a waste.

If only you could do this at the caravan joe town event, I miss being shooed out the oasis by my Joe homies [S]and the 15 AP a day[/S].

And what other event areas have people used these specific methods to get to?
'Cause I'd rather things get confirmed before it's suggested that people buy pets for something that breaks later.

The only other event area like this that I'm aware of is Ladeca.
The event is long over and the NPCs are gone, but you can still teleport to it since it's a real map and not just an instance.

I wish I could see Ladeca, I missed that event. D:
Now this thread has me wondering if I should get a warp imp.
Also, I would agree that Doki Doki would be fun to have as a permanent addition. More maps make the game more interesting geographically and whatnot. More for new players to explore, and it's got the unique architecture and props.
If they did, I wouldn't expect them to keep the prizes, though. I wouldn't mind if they kept the games and gave them lame/no prizes, though, because I find it fun to play. XD

I think the one you get for 100% should be, while the 20% one is only for the island.
