No clue what could be causing that, but try uninstalling the Steam version and get the standalone client from the Nexon site directly:

after using the nexon installer it worked but i booted it up again and now its also giving me a white screen im wondering if it has something to do with me setting all the settings in the game to the max
EDIT: fixed it the game HATES my dual monitor setup and wont play in full screen after finally getting alt+enter to work it started working

I'm having a similar problem. Game boots, get the Nexon logo fade in and out, then it hangs on a white screen. Tried reinstalling, as it happened just after I was messing around with my mods (trying to add a no sound file for bat wing flapping). Works if I remove all mods, white screen if I mod. Worked fine up until this morning. Windows 7.
Ran without mods to update Hackshield and NexonGuard, so it's not that either.

A certain popular mod pack is outdated and causing problems because it has not been updated.
Rename your /data/ folder to something else and deal without it unless you want to use the process of elimination to find which files are causing it (generally features.xml.compiled or any .xml files).
