  Nexon probably does it because that's how gachapon(aka gambling made legal for kids with loopholes) works, unfortunately.
  They want people to get junk so that the determined/gambling-addicted ones will just keep trying until they finally get what they want(which will be the rare items that likely require hundreds of USD). :(

  Personally, I haven't bought any gachapons (I would like to, but I have better uses for NX, and I know what will end up happening anyway), but I will be buying a few items that it gives.
  
  And while I do NOT advise the buying of [S]gamblingforkiddies[/S] gachapons (you've heard of the luck with them, and I've bought some myself in the past (though very few), it's almost always all garbage), if none of you bought them, I couldn't buy the items off of you.

  Yeah, I mean I have no problem with those gachapon machines in grocery stores, but that's only because there's a small amount of possible prizes, and they all have pretty much an equal value... So I wish MMO gachas were like that, and had like a gacha where everything was clothing, another for weapons, another for flashy life skill tools, another for crappy potions, etc. xD
  They seem ok with doing that with dyes in the dye gachapon, but I guess they still don't want to do it with other things for the sake of greed. >_<

  Of course, this is the sad truth. I always hope maybe I would get lucky and get one of those wing because they are so expensive that I could not get them with my gold anyway. Once I start, I kind of get crazy so yeah not going to do it for a while. The thing is I do part time job and it isn't bad at all so 30 dollars is not much of a big deal. I actually like my part time job because it involves coooking and i like cooking :cheer: FYI the gach items got worst when they added the new items, i guess because the grand prizes are good so more junks to even that out and make the same amount of money they would. If it is easy then probably people would get them all w/o spending crazy amount of money. This is business and they want a lot of profits, they are no limit. The more the better...

  I wish this too. Like how KR did the winter item gacha. I wouldnt mind $5 gachas or whatever if they were all on-par items and you had a general set-ish value. I mean yes, there would be supply and demand for items by players, but as long as all the items were on par with each other.
  
  The exception to this I guess would be clothing since it's all about preference and popularity with these items (for the most part), so going with what you said about separate gachas... they should have maybe weapon gachas, clothing gachas, support gachas (cheapest gacha but gives pots, naos, maybe combo card related things, es time removal scrolls, etc)

  The only game I know that does this regularly is Secondlife, where everything in a gacha is usually just a random color/pattern of the same item... but that's because they're player-made, and it's not an actual MMORPG. @_@
  Those gachas are quite popular, though.
  
  But, yeah I would definitely be for paying more for a 100% chance of not getting junk. xD
  Or if they simply sold them outright like character cards.

  Best I got was Two Black stars in my batch of 55 Gachapon.
  Sold for two mil each since the value of them has plummeted on Mari.
  
  Oh and a Krutta Broadsword, that of which is easily to sell but the prices are quite literally everywhere so everyone wants to offer something different. I bought Jackal for 100k and some Dowra Golden's for 4mil. Other than that....I have a lot of pots and flashy cooking tools.

  On the downside the best I got was a Fox Scythe reforged to 1, this was out of 27 gachas. Stoopid enchanted crap weapons.

  Lol.... u will run out of statues faster than u think... especially with explore level uncap on the horizon....
