I permanently have a suppressed appetite, and it will show when i raise kids how empty the portions i will give. Unless my wife ends up cooking.
I eat out of need, not out of want.
First of all, I find that obesity is hardly about eating habits at all... It's more about genetics and natural metabolism. Some people can eat McD's their whole life and not have a single issue (not exaggerating) simply because of how their body works. Other people can eat salads and diet like crazy but still look like a balloon.
Another problem is excercise. Weight loss is super simple stuff. Just take in fewer calories a day than you burn and you WILL lose weight...
I am 6'2 and I normally weigh 140 but for competitions I recently decided to cut down to 128. It was really simple to do actually. All I had to do was eat an apple for lunch instead of a pizza and a cookie and watched what I had for dinner. I made weight within two weeks.
1. "Your eating habits have nothing to do with it!"
2. "I went on a diet and lost 12 pounds!"
Looks like we've got a real debate star on our hands everyone.

Except that it's true.
If you have to watch what you eat everyday and still consider yourself obese chances are you were born that way. It's inherent in your genes. The best way to lose weight IMO is excercise. You don't have to watch what you eat and you can still make sure you get a caloric deficit or atleast a balanced caloric intake each day.

Oops lol. I see what's wrong with my post. I though I mentioned I had to wear a sauna suit while working out.

ANYWAY. My point is that people are naturally fat or skinny. Some people can be skinny without changing eating habits. Some people can eat 2 leaves a day and still be fat.
It all boils down to excercise and genes.
