So I have been thinking of ways to keep in touch with my friends in game out of game. Since I am never really near my computer (and when I am I am already on Mabi so there is no point in that), I looked up the app - KIK messenger.
I downloaded it and it's pretty amazing. I used it back for a few other games to keep in touch with other people, and I was wondering if anyone on here is using it or if they would be interested in using it.
Pretty much what it is:
-You make a screen name/ KIK name.
-It acts as a messenger app, so it doesn't use texting or minutes.
-It doesn't ever give out your number, but it links directly to your phone like a text.
I personally like it because of my busy schedule it's the best way to keep in touch with me.
So yeah, if you have one, add me, and if you don't have one but want to chat, go make one <3
Here's my KIK name: Suffolk.
(make sure to put the period after Suffolk or you'll never find me lol)

AIM girl caved. :o
Well, there's certainly more people who use this over AIM. Younger teenagers mostly, I believe.
I'd honestly just get Skype. You can get it on your phone, as well.

Haha! I know what you mean! It's just like Snapchat tho in that respect :/
They now have a blocker installed into it so that makes it SO much better.

Never used it, every time I heard it mentioned it was related to people sending pictures of their genitals to people who don't want them.
On my phone I use google hangout for chat, and on PC I use it too in addition to skype.
Also IRC but I keep having problems with IRC clients these days so I pretty much quit.

Pretty much what Osay said... with regards to Kik and Google Hangouts. Hangouts works really nicely on PC, too. Tested it with webcam and desktop sharing recently, it worked great.
I bought mIRC, so I've got no problems with IRC clients. Though I rarely participate in IRC communities these days. :S

Yeah, my big thing is that I am not always at my computer so I want a way to keep in touch with my friends through my phone without giving away my personal information.

If i have an account on something, chances are it's the same as everything else i use.
Yes i have kik, only because certain people are incredibly super stubborn and wont text or use skype.
