Your Favorite Events

  Well, I've been hearing a lot lately about people wanting Doki Doki to remain as permanent content.
  
  I think back, and now I want a lot of the past events to be permanent content.
  
  What are your favorite events? Do you want them to come back and stay as permanent content?
  
  
  My Top 3:
  
  1) Lorraine's Nightmare Event (2012) -
  Awesome teamwork event and it would be a nice alternate to spamming SMs and stuff as permanent content.
  
  2) Snowball Fight Event (2012) -
  I absolutely loved this event when it was there (Before people began spamming it).
  If the rewards were dulled down a bit then it would probably prevent the spamming that happened before. That would make it more suitable to be permanent.
  
  3) Dragon Boat Racing (2010) -
  This was one of my favorite events at the time. However, they would have to change up a lot of things if they want it to be permanent content (What would happen to rafting?)

  I'd rather none of these be permanent content because then it takes the fun out of it. After a couple weeks it will just be another "thing" in mabi to forget about and avoid.

  Id probably like the nightmare event u mentioned, the treasure chest event was pretty fun for me, and i really liked the zombie one a few years back. Also it wasnt an official event, but a few years back right before g10 there was a dunby attack one that had high leveled mobs spawning outside dunby I'd like for that one to happen at least once again because it was so chaotic and fun.

  Some of my favorite events include both of the Nightmare tower defense events, The embattled boss event, snowball fight (before trade wins occurred), capture the flag, and the Halloween event (Minus the afking part). I also like double rainbow events, but I don't think I would like that to become permanent (although I wouldn't mind having them a little more often).

  Treasure Box Event: Who doesn't like the free reforges? Not to mention the occasional upgrade stones if you're lucky.
  
  Valentine's Day Cake Event (2013): 30k upgrade stones, how I miss you so. HOW I WOULD LOVE 30K UPGRADE STONES FOREVER.
  
  Dragon Boat Racing: Good times with ego food and the like. The fear of being at the front to tank was the real struggle back then.
  
  There's probably more, but overall I think that's the gist of what's on my mind.

  This, if you want to encourage people to become active in events, you gotta make the rewards stuff like reforge kits, nao stones and upgrade stones, the things players actually want.

  The dragon boat racing, the ski event (the original one not the shitty jump one), and maybe the original CTF event and the zombie defense event in iria. If I recall it had some decent rewards for the time but would be mainly suck now.

  The Snowball Fight event was my all-time favorite because of how much fun it was when played properly. I like how the parties were randomized, and save the different speeds/stats for the races, everyone was brought down to equal footing. You were given cute uniforms and gloves! and as a friend said, having titles hidden made it so that you weren't judged by your level of skill outside the game, but instead on your ability to work well with others. Having to quickly learn how to formulate a working strategy for a random party... nonetheless pelting friends in the face with snowballs... it was really fun.
  
  The rewards were amazing (and they even rewarded the losing team, so it was still worth the play), you were granted 5 AP daily for completing the quest, and even though many players did abuse it for experience and gold, there were still more channels that played it properly than there were those set aside for farming. I don't have anything against those players honestly; I think it's silly to try to step in and act on a higher level when Nexon's not going to do anything about it. (This was the argument used against me when I said selling/trading NX is against the rules, regardless of Nexon's ignorance.) If you want to play it as intended, there was nothing stopping you from doing so.
  
  I was sorely disappointed they didn't bring it back and replaced it instead with the Hide-and-Seek event.
  
  (I agree with Treasure Chest event, as I'm not really a NX user (nor am I great at saving up gold) and never get the chance to reforge my equipment, save during that time period.)

  I actually like the Doki Doki one quite a bit. A few different things going on, and variety is always nice. It's too bad gathering supplies could be so slow sometimes.
  
  And Dragon Boat racing, for ego food or NPC gold-making fodder.
