I know for a fact I had the hebona on right before I afked in my style inventory, have literally checked every possible location for it, and yet still nothing. So I sent in a ticket reguarding my missing hebona robe thinking that maybe it was just a crash that grabbed it and I'd get it replaced. The ticket response from the GM: "Greetings Mabinogi player,
Thank you for contacting Nexon America Support.
I am sorry to hear that you have lost the Hebona Robe on your character. After reviewing your account, I was able to verify that the robe was given to another player. Unfortunately, at this time, we will not be able to help you with the Hebona Robe.
If you have other issues or concerns, please submit a new ticket letting us know.
Thank you for your understanding."
So is this saying that it was traded to someone else? I had not given it to anyone the entire night except to a close friend who gave it back within 3 minutes of him having it. So here's my question
Is it possible for someone who is exploiting pake to cause you to force trade items from your account? Or did my friend having the hebona before my afk mess with the info the GM pulled up on my account about it having been traded away to another character? Any info regarding this would be great, thanks.

I know years ago pake was able to force trades or to force trade completions if u were in a trade window but I thought it was patched long ago since I haven't seen it happen in years. Ofc years ago this was a rumor im not sure it actually happened. In any case I would try sending in another ticket explaining u didn't trade it away or to try and get in touch with a Gm personally or something.

As one of your guesses stated, this is probably what the GM is basing the trade criteria off of regardless of how it was actually lost

Well I know for a fact that GMs track trades, especially huge ones between players. I'm going to guess that someone possibly crashed the channel you were afk in overnight, and you didn't relog after your friend gave your hebona back. This means you did not save the data properly. (Mabinogi does NOT auto-save data if you dont relog, cc, etc.) Because of this, the only possible data that was saved was when you last relogged. Now, if your friend had your hebona during that time, it is very possible that GMs saw that transaction registered as your friend's hebona via trade, meaning you did not have your hebona during the last saved character data.
TLDR: You got rolledback. I doubt it was the work of a pake user, besides the possible channel crash. (Why would a pake user go after a hebona robe of all things?) GMs neglected to look at your friend's data where he/she traded it back to you. It's either that or a Mabinogi remote hack exists like it has on Maplestory.
My advice is to keep pestering them or tell them to check your friend's transactions (I highly doubt they will do this for you since it's considered harassment.) But goodluck.

afaik you can olny do such thing with pake if your on the same party/you have an open party without password other wise you got hacked using other method such as spyware/remote access.its impossible that your robe got rolled back since your character is online the whole time.

Just making sure, but, is this a friend you trust? Someone you have known personally for a long time and hangout with often?

Hm? From my understanding lately, or at least from my personal experience. Saves do occur after a 5 min interval, each server tick.
