F.O.E.?
Uber hard bosses? In a RPG? Impossible. Unless you're making the gameplay like in Mother or SMT. Recent SMT games, since it's hard since the enemies are fighting on the same rules as you are. Mother, because... I heard it's actually hard.
Also, assuming everybody that signs up in the character thread wants to be in the spotlight at some point or another, is it possible to do a Support-like system from Fire Emblem?

I'd rather not have an Itchy in there.
I mean, that crap is in the past, ya know?

Right, except include him in there for the prologue, and then never again.

Hmmm, being an antagonist would be nice. Not sure how I'd fit in, but I'll think of something. Eventually.

I demand to be a humorous character!
If demanding makes me less likely to be humorous, I ask extremely nicely.
If asking nicely is not enough, I offer large bribes.
As for game play ideas, there should be character/partymember-specific quests that must be done in order to unlock that character's most powerful ability. The ability can either be like overdrives/limit breakers where you need to take damage to fill the meter and do one single attack, or it can use a butt-load of mana/stamina to put that character (or other character) in a very powerful mode. Or maybe some characters have the former type and other characters have the latter type.

Can we try including Ferghus somewhere in the plot? Maybe second in command of some...evil army? XD
(I have this really awesome RMVX Ferghus sprite, that's why I'm asking)

Yesh! He can be my left hand man, and he has the ability to break down your weapons and armor to render them useless for a few turns! Perfect special ability for him!

Plotline: Limes quotes your post, tells you that everything you've said is wrong, explains why you're wrong, laughs at you, and then doesn't post again for 3-6 days. :v

Or maybe one-shot moves the halve the character's stam, MP and HP in exchange for a brutal attack with varying special effects from character to character.

How about including Pally/DK Vindictus style (DK would require you to implement a durability system) When you use DK, it breaks your armor upon time running out. Pally...I'm not so sure about.

There should be a move called catalyst.
I just think it would make a good name for a move.
