I do. Maybe not 'seriously' as you put it, but it still gets use in most shadow missions, field bosses, etc.
Useful enough for most content. Just because it's not the best doesn't make them useless.

Used to use my ring bow ego, but got DKB so I don't think it's worth it anymore. Will change vote when I switch to firewand.

still using ringbow ego,dont want to go through the process of upgarding,special upgrading,enchanting and reforging a hlb for a small dps increase and bhafel atm is meh,im too poor for it :C

The BDK bow is so close to a maxed Ring Bow ego I think that pretty much killed that off as a recommendation anymore for archery. Now basically only fire wand egos are useful. Soooo... Devcat should probably revamp this stuff soon, it's essentially useless.

From an archer's standpoint, I used my spirit ring bow over anything else for a long time. I would have continued to use it over the Masterpiece and BDK Bow since the base damage was already very high, reforged, and all that good stuff. Access to Bhafel Set though is just too OP to pass up with that Huntress.
That being said, I would not currently recommend a spirit weapon to anyone who doesn't already have one built up because it's not worth the amount of time and effort at this time or as of any upcoming content. You could spend a fraction of the time and a fraction of the cost building an R5-6 HLB/Infinite bow or BDK Bow/Masterpiece Bow, or even a Bhafel Set (probably same cost, but fraction of the time) and end up ahead.
I considered switching my spirit weapon to another weapon after obtaining the Bhafel Set but simply put, I see absolutely no point... the only spirit weapon I've seen that is good is fire wand and I'd rather not touch a skillset that doesn't blend so easily with range.

I still use mine, it's not too expensive to repair and since I'm not actively reforging anymore, it's one of the best things I have.

My Highlander Claymore. I use this quite frequently just because I don't have to worry about its dura and that it's dmg is good enough for most things.
