Yeah, I know Deviantart but there some good info in there.
Generally you should look for tutorials that explain processes with text.

Either look for tutorial, or copy the hands of other artist and at some point you'll naturally know how it works. Of course if you plan to copy an entire piece, dont show it to other people. That's how I learned mostly as tutorials werent doing it for me.
