I'm in South Korea, and I want to play at North America Mabinogi server.
I downloaded and installed NA Mabinogi. Entered ID, password and clicked log in.
Then a message appears as following "Not service area"
So, I turned a vpn - "Hotshiled" on. And I tried to log in again.
Then this time another message - "invalid ID or password" Urgh!
On top of that, every time I try to sign in Mabinogi site, this message appears below:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Account Activation Required
Your account has been deactivated for your protection, due to account inactivity or improper attempts to access your account.

I put my account activation by clicking link in my e-mail. But it's no use.
Because when I try to sigh in MABINOGI site after activation once again this message appears.
Just repetition...
Please help me! Do you know any way to log in NA mabinogi from another country?

Why not play KR Mabi and help out the KR Mabi team here on the forums? I'm linking some of the Crew to see if Kene can get in contact with you on this.
But if you're really adamant on playing the NA version, you need some sort of IP address changer. To which I am no expert on, apologies.

I don't know if this still works, and there are likely less laggy alternatives to this however... I know that if you had AOL installed on your system and had it on/logged in, your IP would be that of where ever their servers are (NYC USA last I heard?). This would grant a player a US IP. My friends in the UK used to use this technique to play vindictus and mabinogi with me before the European IP blocks were lifted.

Try to create a new account with the VPN already turned on. Then try to log into the game while still on the VPN.

I heard something about Proxy. You should Google that

Nexon bans the IP range of hotspotshield. You will probably need a paid VPN service to access the game. I've also heard success stories from some america online thing

A little off topic but I had a question, I am playing from australia, how come I get such little lag?

Your ISP probably has a good route to the US west coast.

I could use some assistance with this issue as well.
I'm deployed at present with no realistic way to play Mabinogi. However, i'm headed to South Korea around a month after my return to the United States and I would really enjoy the ability to continue playing with the character i've developed over the last four years with my guild.
Neither tunneling through VPN or the AOL method seem ideal.

You need some sort of proxy as your connection needs to be relayed from an acceptable place.
Of the options for that, a VPN would give the best gaming experience.

As far as I know, NA blocked KR and JP IP from accessing their server (cause I tried using JP VPN to log-in but got denied).
One way to re-activated your account is to 'NOT' using any VPN when log-in into both the game website and E-mail... or else Using VPN for both log-in into game website and E-mail for re-activation. Because you'll need both identical IP in order to re-activated your ID. (or if you an advance user and have a lot of experience in VPN or Proxy, you can just used VPN for log-in into game website only and using regular IP to log-in into your E-mail for security of your E-mail.)
Also, as most of member mentioned. You'll need VPN in order to played NA mabinogi.

WTFast
You get a free 30-day trial, after that it's paid at like $6 a month or something...
Choose an NA server, and done

that doesn't quite work like a vpn does on its own. It won't let you login from areas that restrict access without the use of a vpn at the same time.
