I wonder what kind of restrictions will be in place? If they do something like you bot you lose than wouldnt that screw up like everything? We could just bot for RO and they would lose.

Probably use a better polling system.

They really should have used a better system from the start.
Everyone and their mother cheats on polls in one way or another these days.

Sadly what that tweet means is they'll have a hot time / login event where everyone gets an AP potion worth 3 AP then apologize profusely for us having not understood what they meant :pissedoff:

Would not be surprised.
Too busy for mabi anyways though so my plan to not do anything until that event is valid either way.

Based on the graphs it's pretty obvious that RO have used a lot of cheats/bots to achieve their amounts of votes. I lost the picture but there was a graph showing how mabi's votes have been steadily increasing where as RO's have been going up for short periods and stopping for periods as well.
That's not to say we don't have some botters too but we'd have significantly less based on the statistics. I sure hope they do a good job filtering out cheated votes or we don't stand a chance.

They're not going to invest the amount of time required to properly determining a winner, especially if they used such a shitty polling system to begin with. It's clear they don't care a whole lot and that poll is for increasing their own publicity.
It'll either just go to RO since they have more votes at first glance, or it'll be as random as flipping a coin.

Last time I saw was 30% ragnarok 60% mabinogi... (in the time there still around 6,000 votes) now there reverse....
I wasn't hope of Mabinogi to win against Ragnarok anyway...

The Mabinogi/Ragnarok Online poll was, shall we say, a bit tainted, overwhelmingly (and obviously, once we got a look at the IP information) in favor of RO, with some domains reporting over 500 votes. As such, we’ve altered the final count, discounting as many of the illicit votes as we could find, as well as the few Mabinogi domains that recorded an unusually high number of votes. This may also have cost us a few legitimate Mabi and RO votes – and we’d imagine the vast majority of voters were honest and legitimate – but those are the casualties that the cheaters don’t mind racking up
