So I looked around and couldn't find the answer to the following questions. If anyone can answer them for me, I would really appreciate it.
1) I understand that if I had a Fire 4 weapon, I would deal 33.3% extra damage to normal monsters without an elemental affinity. However, how would this relate to elemental monsters, such as Spiders (Ice) or Red Skeletons (Fire)?
I heard that if a monster had a value of "Ice 4", it would be as if 33.3% from my weapon + 44.4% from the Spider's Ice, which results in 77.7%. I'm not sure if this is true, and would like to suggest that it wasn't the case with my Ice 2 Ego.
How does this equation change if the Monster was Lightning instead?
2) How about Elemental Reforges for Wands? I'm thinking of ego'ing a Phoenix Fire Wand (r1 pre-forged), but not sure if other than Firebolt damage, there would be a reforge that would be "worth it". If Elemental Reforges affect wands, I might change this paradigm, however...
(aka, does Elemental reforges affect damage of magic?)
Thanks for any answers!

Elemental reforges cannot be obtained on magic weapons.
Also, you might want to see:
Quote from k1nsoo;1203892:
The Damage reduction for same ele vs ele [ice 6 vs ice 6]
Remember that elemental reforges give additional 11.11% dmg+ lvl of 'elemental' enchants.
That is, if you have ele6, that gives you 55.55%+ element 6 enchanted effects.
However, if you and your enemy have same elements, it gives you damage reduction of 11.11% per level.
So for this case ice6 vs ice6:
55.55%+ enemy's ice 6 (-66.66%) = -11.11%
Both players (I'm assuming this is PvP Tyler) will give/receive -11.11% damage each other.
Double Ele's:
Do double ele's conflict with each other?
Continuing from Ice 6 vs. Ice 6;
You can increase/decrease damage given/taken depending on which element you enchant on your equipment.
Let's say I have ice 6 knuckle + 8 ice enchanted equipments (2accs, helms, body, gloves, shoes, weapons, and robes):
It will result total 55.55% - 88.88% = -33.33% damage given/taken.
But what if ice 6 + 8 fire enchants vs. ice 6?
55.55% + 22.22% (fire 6/ice 6 cancels out; fire 2 left) = +77.77% damage given/taken
Again, non-elemental mobs/players aren't affected by element enchants; they don't increase or decrease given/taken damage.
Double-elements work similar with this; reforge-wise, it is:
(element level -1) *11.1% per line;
So with Jake's bow (Lightning 5 & Ice 3),
it will be 44.44%+22.22% = +66.66% (ele7 worth)
Rumor behind Lightning ele being the best.
This depends on players.
Lightning DOES get affected by ICE elements; each 3 level = additional 11.11% damage given/reduced.
Lightning has nothing to do with fire.
So theory-wise, lightning can be the best,
but keep in mind that other elements (fire/ice) can negate damage given/taken with proper elemental enchants.
Using fire 6 weapon + ice 6 enchant will still deal additional 55.5% to fire 6.
Using ice 6 weapon + fire 6 enchant will still deal additional 55.5% to ice 6.
Is there a missing damage determining factor?
If your Balance is 80%; your average dps will be 80% of min/max damage. So in reality, you wouldn't deal 'full' max damage listed on character stats.

Thanks for those quotes! A little bit confusing, but I think I understand elementals a bit more.

According to the wiki, elemental reforge is melee+ranged only. This also means no guns.
