How is NA Mabinogi?

  Hello, I recently joined mabination. How are people here enjoying their mabinogi? I want to know how is NA mabinogi doing, such as player base, supports, cash items, etc... I played in Korean server for long time, but my gf wants to play again too... I made her an account in Kor version, but i am sure she will struggle a lot due to her lack of Korean language knowledge.
  If this is wrong place to ask this kind of questions, I will move it somewhere else.

  A lot of dumb people, much like other NA server games. Cash items are decent, although some items may not seem as prevalent as they are in KR server.
  
  But you and your girlfriend will find right people to hang out and such.

  I think NA Mabinogi is way better than it used to be, if you're big on raiding (which most mabi KR players seem to be) I'd suggest joining Ruairi or Alexina.

  I start playing this game few months ago, people that I met are very nice and helpful. General they will answer questions that I ask and give me suggests.
  
  About cash items. I use most of my NX buying rebirth card (every 6 days), some reforging tools, some Nao Soul Stones and few dyes. (abut $50 a month). But again you can live without cash items, before total level of 300, you can rebirth everyday. After that u have free rebirth when ever you reach age 20. Cash dye was unnecessary now, since fixed dye's price have dropped a lot due to the last event, you can find some nice one with just 50K ea. Nao Soul Stone is ust good to have some in your bag. Reforging tools is for people whose want high damage output and soloing, if you always go in dun with a party you dont really need a reforged weapon (correct me if I am wrong).
  
  A thing that new players may face is when they want to do the shadow mission dailies, most of the parties there is doing hard mode.

  mostly I am hesitating due to the fact I need to restart everything. so mostly going to invest some cash just to get starting money and hope to be where I was asap. if the ap events and stuff goes on, I may try getting on to NA. Also, it would be easier on my gf... and do you know how far is NA behind Kor? Also, how many people are on NA? It doesn't affect too much, but i play UWO, which has really small but nice player-base.

  Hey, I just started on NA a few days ago, I played on the EU server before. I think it's easy to start on NA now (compared to a few years back) and here's why:
  

  
  
  • Free rebirth everyday till 300 total
    
  • Free permanent Eagle pet
    
  • Free permanent Thoroughbred pet
    
  • Lots of events that make it easy to make money, like Doki Doki island event now.
    
  • Commerce is fast exp and gold if you have no skills ranked yet.
    
  • Free Inventory Plus service (everyone can use item bags and create personal shops).
    

  
  Btw I am on the Alexina server, which has the most players I think.

  Vates was just released. Treasure hunter/master chef haven't come out yet. Field bosses are raids. We don't have 2nd season of drama but we finished the first 10 eps. Also we don't have free rebirths.

  Yes we do, I think this post means free weekly rebirths. We have the free-at-age-20 rebirths still.

  A lot of people who believe that they are superior to others and talk down to them, like in a lot of MMORGPS in general. I'm not too sure about what server you plan on playing, and the playerbases of other servers, but in Alexins there's a Korean oriented guild named "Winner" if you are interested in such a thing. Since I don't understand the language, I can't tell you anything else about them (such as personalities within the guild, and any potential application process)
