Started ME1 a few days ago, can't wait to be disappointed with 2.

me1 was so bad gameplay wise. me2 is so much better. I personally think me3 was the best but I liked the original ending

It wasn't. A lot of people say this, but it's really wasn't.
Mass Effect 1 combined RPG, third-person shooter, and tactical squad gameplay brilliantly.
It wasn't a full-blown tactical game like operation flashpoint, or Tom Clancy's Rainboy Six series but it did the job great.
2 and 3 really dumbed it down primarily a third-person shooter instead of balancing it out and that's what I dislike about the later games.

Perfectly my ass. It's painful for me going back to Mass Effect 1 after playing 2, which is my favourite in the series. I've finished Mass Effect 1 twice and I'm on my 3rd playthrough and I doubt I'll be able to finish it. Shooting feels bad, the Mako is evil, the enemies yell I WILL DESTROY YOU too many times and the environments are all alike. I do like the the character interactions though.

Shootin' feels aight to me.
Mako is in fact evil I'll give you that.
Environments only looked the same on the mako missions. Aside from that they were different.

I think the gameplay was just so bland and boring. Had no extra elements that me2 or 3 had. Gernades were pointless the sprinting was stupid and the only guns I ever thought were usable were the shotguns

The Sniper Rifles man, just the satisfaction you feel after you've fully trained the skill enough that you're aim is spot on. It's great. Head shots galore! Of course it's way more satisfying in ME2 with the Widow Rifle (<3) but still.

I own all three games and 95% of the DLC (Excluding one ME2 DLC) and i really enjoyed 2 the most. Reading this makes me want to play a 'kill all alien squadmates' run and run a pure human team. What annoys me about ME3 for the PC is you have to aquire it through origin(which i have) but its just a pain in the butt
Sure ME2 was dumbed down a bit, but it had brilliant characters, and you could smell the drama burning and you could easily get attached to certian characters like Legion and Tali. (My favorites)
However ME3 is a shitstorm of awsome and 'why am i playing this'
but ME1's Mako is what killed me the most about ME. felt so bad.

I hate ME3, it was a good game up til the end, then it just dropped the ball through the floor of hundred floor building.

I loved the Mako in ME1. D: I'd spend hour riding around on planets and stuff. I've started playing 2 after beating 1, but for some reason I stopped. I need to pick it up again. D8

ME2 was a very enjoyable game, especially the planet surveys were definitely improved... while yes, the Mako was fun, the planets were fairly shit, with the exception of Luna and that one snow planet with the maw threshers. But overall I felt far more engaged with ME1.
Never tried ME3 and I don't inted to.

I stopped liking EA's games after command and conquer and everything else started to suck, so I haven't bothered with this series.
