How is mabination?

  I've stayed away from Mabination only for the reason that Nexon forums have more people on them. Though Lately they and their volunteers especially have gotten VERY bad about negative opinions on that forum. They seem to close and block anything remotely negative.
  
  It's like you're not allowed to have an opinion or all the volunteers will jump ya and delete/hide your post. It's disgusting and it's censorship...
  
  My question to you, good people of Mabination is how good is Mabination compared to Nexon forums? I read the rules but I don't trust reading the rules to solely define rules anymore, not since Nexon forums started coming up with bs reasons to delete/lock posts when they weren't violating any rules.
  
  Just wondering how lenient you are here, not looking to post gore or anything just wondering if opinions both negative and positive are allowed here.

  lol jk. I'd say we're pretty lenient on certain things so long as you don't bash other players, link inappropriate material in inappropriate sections, and follow the general rules.
  
  I mean I have to agree with the OP here, the nexon mods/volunteers/whatever are ridiculous. For example, you can't link certain well-known websites to mabinogi players (such as nation!) without having your post edited/thread locked. They will remove and censor certain words and such simply to pretend other websites/fan bases exist. I tried the nexon forums before coming here, it sucked. I went back after they changed the layout and whatnot to see if it changed, it's not any better.

Also mostly everyone here knows their shit about Mabi and if they don't they're willing to learn, nexon forums isn't really like that since everyone's pretty stubborn.   I like mabination way better than the official forums just due to the more open minded people here. Nexon forums are normally full of very close minded players so trying to help normally leads to a name throwing contest.

  Mabination is the only place where I feel safe to actually freely share content from overseas servers so Mabination is an excellent resource to knowing what's going on in the Korean Servers. This is also where the KR Test Crew has made their home and base :D
  
  That being said, I really enjoy Mabination and feel it's a lot more better than Nexon Forums. Plus you aren't restricted from editing your posts, having a forum title, or having a sig. Plus you can PM members, have profile pics and profile music. Overall the features present on Mabination is just plain superior in every shape and form. We even have spoiler tags for the love of god! (That really ticks me off about Nexon Forums is lack of spoiler tags, like wth?!)
  
  The community here I feel is better than Nexon's and of course as you can see we have some very good, and fun mods who do their job correctly and don't go crazy abusing their powers like the Nexon forums one.
  
  Most importantly, you can have an opinion and not get your posts removed as long as you follow the rules. So, have fun and enjoy your stay! Don't forget to check out the Foreign Content section btw.

  Anyway, as someone who resided on the Nexon forums for a long time before eventually deciding to give this place this place a try, I must say this place is indeed quite a lot better compared Nexon's. ESPECIALLY after the drastic changes they came up with a few a weeks (or months ago)

  Mabination's a lovely place to be and I don't think you'd be able to find a better Mabinogi [S]fan[/S]site anywhere else.

  Among other things, but yes. It bothers me. As I stated before the speaking in 3rd person segment, I don't really like the community centered around it in general. This applies to all nexon forums, not just mabis. No other nexon forum partakes in the speaking in 3rd person thing though
