Taming duration

Someone on Alexina has been taming random things for the past few days, the thing is though, said tamed animals stick around for hours past the 3 minute duration.

How does one do this?

Oh phew! It's a little less "broken" now.

Control of Darkness is a costly skill though, the success rate also seems to be pretty bad and a lot of newer monsters aren't tameable, it's a shame.

Actually I witnessed a certain player who had the CoD-tamed monsters and they were outside of trans. Of course this was sometime last week, so the maint probably fixed it (I'm assuming). I won't comment on the legitimacy of it however since that's probably irrelevant at this point anyway.

Edit: They would also pretty much infinitely respawn after killed in PvP/EvG. I'm sure the two are related somewhat, but not to what extent.
