I think it's pretty obvious that this is just an oversight that people have been exploiting. It's even more obvious when people require mobs to be stuck for them to be able to abuse it. Basically everyone I know who is leveling for this 10x mob exp event is using episode 4 finale, and why wouldn't they? It takes basically no skills or effort and rewards you with exp which is practically unparalleled, as well as decent gold.
So should the exp values of the mobs be reduced to prevent further exploitation? Keep in mind that no one's opinions in this thread will have any impact on what actually happens, so try not to freak out and rage.

It really only is worth the trouble during exp events, so I dont see a big reason to nerf it honestly.

If it's the mission I'm thinking of, I honestly didn't find it to be very good. Was pretty annoying actually.
During EXP events I much prefer to idle all day at a field monster spawn and kill stuff whenever I get a few seconds free.

I guess without 10x exp in about 4 hours you could still get level 113 or so. It's pretty OP but very grindy... and thus not fun at all in any way.

I actually tried it, but my computer sucks so much that I was literally having 2-5 FPS in that mission.
So yeah, not viable to me

This.
It's not even an issue if there's no stuck mob problem.

If it becomes a problem, they'll just do the same thing they did to Dorren's Request. They'll set the mob exp to 0 and be done with it.
Outside of that, its more of a meh to me. I'm having fun murdering trolls gathering some tough lumber.

Going back to what the OP stated, I could easily abuse this without stuck mobs and several times I did lol IS spam doesn't care if you are stuck or not.

Just tried it, didn't feel any faster than Commerce Master Bandits but it's certainly EASIER.

it's not a real issue when you can also IS bomb shyllien for tons more when there's a bunch of ancients sitting around.
this mission just happens to be more consistent.

In a somewhat similar mission in rush of love a while back, the monsters gave a generous amount of experience per kill and they were reduced to prevent exploitation. Most content in the game actually rewards the vast majority of experience through mobs. Seeing as players were tenfold as likely to attempt episode 4 final continuously than to do a mission such as Shadow Wizard is something that should seem imbalanced. This mission was never intended to provide more than paltry gold or experience, yet people are doing it in ways never anticipated for just that reason. As previously stated this is so much so that missions intended for that reason are less effective.
So the question that remains, which may have already been answered, is if this should be fixed? It's become rather apparent that pretty much no one thinks it should be, with the exception of myself and a select few others. Some good points were brought up on both sides so I think this might be a good place to conclude the thread. Thank you for reading and responding.
