Pointless. Players would get bored of it very quickly. No2 has the right idea with having different monsters with more complex AI and different monster spawns.
I agree. the current AI system is too primitive, we need enemies that react faster, we also need enemies that are immune to things like Crisis, Lullaby, Rain casting and Stun pets.

The reward was the biggest problem for peaca abyss. For a content that is supposedly harder, the rewards are dissapointingly awful.
From all the times I've ran it, I never got anything that was not a crystal or a basic cylinder.

It's constant comments like this that has gotten us a couple years of nothing but gimmicky monsters that still die in one hit. Those get old fast.

As if anyone in Korea actually reads these forums to begin with.

There's a proverbial Korean version of you that said the same thing you did, and the proverbial Korean version of me didn't like it.

Okay?

Step 6: Not just the archer or warrior fomor #876543
Mob skill and ability variety. Recently there hasn't been too many new skills added to mobs outside a very select few. We could really use mobs with a grapple shot ability, mobs that have some kind of charge, or mobs with minor AOE skills instead of just fireballs. Not every mobs needs to be a fully loaded Cessair's Heart, but the smash/defense/counter cookie cutout with maybe a bolt is getting rather old. Make the players think about what they're up against.
Step 7: You idiot, hit me already (AI)
Anther one about the mobs, as they're rather central to challenging content. We could use some new, perhaps more advanced AI. Some smart mobs, some dumb mobs, some quick thinking mobs. For example a mob that does nothing but run up and hit you with normal attacks, perhaps one of the most deadly mobs you could make in Mabi. Another example is a mob that tries to distance itself from allied mobs, to make it difficult for the user to AOE. Now the third example might be something we're more familiar with, a rather slow-witted AI mob that might try to keep near its comrades.
Why the third one? The dumb and easier to kill mobs are absolutely vital to creating a balanced game, they may become low-priority targets or give the players a mental break from otherwise harsher content. Without these mobs, there really won't be much variety in AI. A well designed idiot fomor can really improve the challenge of the game if used properly.

It's not that I find issue with new and interesting AI nor new skills, it's just not a reason to discourage tougher mobs/highest difficulties. It's also listed later on the list for that reason, as I view it as less important.

Honestly instead of new difficulties, I would prefer newer harder missions with new monsters and ai. I'm starting to get sick of fighting the same monsters over and over again.

Yes. NEW new stuff. Not the the same AI with beefed up stats.

This, really.
Although I would really like the same missions with harder "elite".

Whats the point of working on smarter AI when they'll be able to still be one-shotted anyways?

I would love harder missions but some new or at least revamped AI would be amazing. Maybe tweak some of the current AI sets to use more current skills or at least something more than just smash, defense, counterattack, and the occasional bolt.

I wouldn't mind newer mobs being tankier than current elite/lord mission mobs. There will always be the select few with insanely high damage output, but I feel like it could pose a challenge for the majority of the player base.

The problem sounds more like a solution to me. There's hardly any shortage of weak mobs, just do any mission ever.

Thats kind of the point of end game content. It is supposed to be challenging for the end game players and make it worth the effort to actually get that insane damage. We dont need content that is tailored to all players, there already is content for them, we need content tailored towards players in the high mid game to end game category. Most games have these tiers, I don't see why mabi is any different and should be treated any differently.

I'd like new boss trials for parties that have strong bosses with complex attacks that require team work instead of just mobs, cause mobs have so much fixing needed. Then again just spam firebolt/guns on those bosses... Oh well.
Possibly make it so spammed attacks get gradually weaker on the bosses and have to use something else, and in a buffered time so it's not just: Attack 1 -x10 -> Quick Attack 2 -> Attack 1 -x10 rinse and repeat.
