  I did not buy Alice: Madness Returns as an Origin product and I don't intend to waste my time restarting your POS shit software because the fucking flash doesn't fucking work and I can't fucking play my fucking game which I fucking bought to fucking play just because you feel it's great customer service to force everyone playing one of your shit games to install your shit software.

  This is how I felt when I stood in line for 2 hours to get a physical copy of Skyrim for PC only to find out that it did me 0 good because all that was on the disc was the Steam installer and the information it needed to download the game.

  The main thing steam has going for it is that most publishers seem to support it. Considering the amount of advertising the games get, and that gamers are willing to put up with for some reason, I'd probably want to support it too as a publisher.

  Yes, I do. Everything aside of Origin works perfectly.
  I still shouldn't have to do it anyway, it was never part of the deal back then. This is probably illegal, at least in my local jurisdiction.

  EA is 100% dead for me since Sim City - and so is Maxis. It's not like any of their games aren't replaceable anyway, well, except for the Sims franchise.

  EDIT: Great. I did have a right to be given a Origin-free version, but it vanishes two years after the purchase. I purchased it in November 2011.
