Apparently this is a thing now, people uploading videos of them bringing out their cats natural born talents as musical instruments. They play their cats as guitars, bongos, and maracas plus more!
I'd just post the videos directly, but I don't know how to instagram, so here's a link to a list of some of the best.

And we can't forget the vocal accompaniment to these wonderful musicians.

What instrument do you think your cat would best function as?

A cat is not your instrument. How about we use humans as instruments? Oh wait we already do >.>

Hey, don't diss the cat instruments. Have you ever tried chilling at the beach while someone plays a catsax in the background? It's instant relaxation. You simply don't understand the power of catstruments.

I love to hit my kitty and make strumming noises and pretend I'm playing guitar.

Cats already hate you without provocation. They're kind of jerks.

I can understand that due to his peculiar situation Nithiel is annoyed enough by cats that he doesn't feel any disinclination against disrespectful behaviour towards them, but this is still pretty disrespectful.
However not much more than those pranks parents do on their children for that show whose name I forgot that make everyone laugh including the finger-waggers here. Or your regular April's Fools for that matter.
And they're going to survive.
So meh I guess. Just don't do it on a regular basis.
I like these videos by him.

Or it could just be funny. o-o

Regardless of whether it's funny or not, it is disrespectful. Just like common pranks.
You don't always have to be 100% respectful.
