Another one *_*
Building computers isn't for me; I don't want to put the time and effort into learning how to build one then hoping that I did it right so it's not a block of money. :c
I just want a nice gaming desktop (general gaming and also FPS gaming) that will last me several years. The computer must also be good with streaming videos (i.e. twitch), recording (fraps), photoshop, and other day to day computer use like browsing and streaming.
The only games I play at the moment are TERA Online and Mabinogi (semi-quit atm). But looking ahead, I want it to be able to support heavier-demanding games too.
As mentioned before, this one is also a worse deal than the first one you've posted.
I've tried to configure a roughly comparable system to the Vanquish II at CyberPowerPC and it came to something like $50 less, or $150 less if you count the $100 rebate they have for Windows 8.1 (I hate mail-in rebates, they are sometimes unreliable, so I typically don't consider them). They do take longer to build and probably don't test the systems as well, though. I've also seen too many reviews of dented cases for my liking, though I dunno if it's any different with DigitalStorm in this regard. I've also checked with NCIX and their cost was comparable.
My only real gripe with the Vanquish II is that its 8GB of RAM is in 4 x 2GB configuration. This means all motherboard RAM slots are used up, and therefore you'll have to throw out some of the RAM sticks in case you wish to upgrade later. If they had a 2 x 4GB configuration, for example, you'd be able to add another 2 x 4GB at a later point to upgrade to 16GB some time down the road without wasting RAM. Maybe you can call them and demand that they change it to a 2 x 4GB setup for free (you'd have the same total RAM capacity).
