Stay away from Nuclear power plants, and angry Wizards.
If you mix those together, you get Nuclear Magic zombies, and they can teleport, so no city wall or barrier will prevent an infestation.
You don't want to get bitten by a teleporting nuclear magic zombie do you? So stay away from local power hubs.

All you need to do is put human bait in the sky above an incinerator with some kind of whirling boffer to knock them off the platform... they'll teleport up to the human (assuming they can actually control the location) and fall to their re-death once they run out of mana.

I wonder if you could find the chemicals or pheromones that attract zombies to life and make them cannibalistic.

Actually, I would go straight towards the nearest nuclear plant.
Even zombies cannot withstand hard radiation for long. I could sit tight inside that reactor's control room where there would be adequate shielding and survival apparatus made necessary by reactor safety procedures, protected from the zombie interests by the thick concrete and steel walls meant to retain nuclear materials during an accident.
The real crippler would be what happens to that nuke plant when the diesel fuel for the backup generator is exhausted... nuclear plants only generate power from the reactor when there is a functional power grid attached after all, otherwise they consume a significant amount of power to operate cooling pumps.
Can you imagine? In the event of an actual zombie apocalypse, every nuclear reactor in the world would lose cooling and go the way of fukushima within a month of said apocalypse happening. The zombies would be about the only living thing left on the planet.

Dunno how zombies might end up being, so planning ahead doesn't really do much, unless it's in the case of mental, and physical preparation, and food supplies.

In the event an Angry Wizard converts nuclear zombies into Nuclear Magic zombies, we'll be fucked. Because if you combine magic with nuclear radiation, you're gonna get some level 9999 shit right there.

I would just rig it so my freezer works on solar power; then load it full of hotdogs and buns.
Have 500 cases of 24 water, and a huge bookshelf of books.
UNLESS A HULK ZOMBIE APPEARS.
I think im K.

K that last you maybe 1- 1-1/2 yrs for food depending on freezer size and how many a day you eat

You don't need freezers or fridges for conserves or dried foods. Just need to keep pests away.
Rain can be used as a water source too.

A zombie apocalypse would be awesome! Eiry would be able to eat whatever she wanted!
Eiry's never eaten an entire building before.
