I decided to make a character purely dedicated to life skills, and the problem I'm having figuring out is out of all the life talents, which 2 will make the most profit?
I have no intention in selling materials (Ingots, Threads, Herbs, etc), only the finished products (Weapons, Clothing, Potions, etc), so while preparing for this hard journey, I need to know which 2 talents to really focus on.
Oh, and don't worry about mentioning having to kill monsters for leathers and all that stuff, I have all that covered already.

I'll be realistic here: you won't get much profit from production these days, unless you're selling mats.
All I can think of are really rare goods, like Languhiris chaser armor/parts, bone breaker, bhafel combo, bhafel set, and those don't involve talents.
From tailoring, you can make Rosemary gloves or druid robes, and those are probably the only ones that are profitable. And rosemary gloves are still very hard to make.
Your best bet is to grind yourself into engineering/magic craft, and make wands/hermit staff.

You're better off doing those skills on your main so you can benefit from the additional stat bonuses from ranking those skills.
It's pretty hard to profit from any skills nowadays, aside from the niche ultra rare items. In which case some of the materials you could sell for 50m by itself anyway.
If you do carpentry, people seem to pay a reasonable price for Fine Firewood for minimal effort, same goes for stuff like Tough String from weaving. Otherwise, Engineering/Magic Craft as mentioned above.

Don't count out mats - I had someone buy 400 wool from me per their 5k/stack party ad. Probably the fastest 200k I've made (even though they wanted to trade it all via mail -.-)
And things like tough string as mentioned above - plus dat dex from weaving. I don't know about tailoring - I was training it this past week (leaving it at r8) and it got really grindy... plus the good and rare patterns are... rare.

Only pattern worth for tailoring or Rosemary gloves, or Druid robes. Others are pretty much just for training.
As for mats, the problem lies in the fact that the cost isn't much considering how much you have to gather. 400 wools aren't hard to get, but 200k for the effort isn't worth it.
Another thing you could make is thames set from blacksmithing. Sometimes boots are in demand as they are the grindiest to get, as well as the fact that you can manipulate the stats.
Some people also try to get demonic fear shield, so if you can get your hands on it, it could be a nice investment, considering how cheap demonic materials are.

You don't rank life skills for money. You rank them for the gains.

All kinds of gains.

Engineering and Magic Craft are the way to go.
But you could spend all that time training doing commerce instead and probably make more money if you had say a speed reforge.

Tailoring could be profitable, if you have discontinued manuals (large ribbon, kitty gloves)

Cooking can SOMETIMES be profitable, but I wouldn't count on it for my main source of income.

Getting mixed answers here..
Alright, let's say I want to sell only the materials (Iron Ingots, Finest Wood, Mana Herbs) what 2 skills (Weaving, Herbalism, Carpetry, etc) would make the best profit? This question is also not server specific, just trying to get a general consensus before making a permanent choice.

I'd say Potion Making at this point, but even potion prices are declining while the economy in inflating. You'd do well with holy water PTJs if you can do them efficiently, probably across multiple characters too.

I'm assuming you're thinking best profit as in best income. Carpentry (selling fine woods) will net you a decent sum of gold. I forget how much a stack though. Weaving is less profitable, but definitely easier and faster. Selling thin/thick threads are your best bet.
I can't tell you which is more time/income efficient, since I rank life skills mostly for stats lol

I'm ranking Ecology just for the stats, but I can sell almost everything I get from it. I sell shyllien crystal stacks for anywhere between 25k-40k depending on if anyone else is selling them on housing, poison herb stacks for 30k, and garbage herbs for 15k. Stacking +Luck gear for more huge lucky's (luckies?[Idk]) and playing Harvest makes it pretty quick, too.

I have all the life skills maxed, but for the work that they required, none of them are profitable. Only the materials are profitable, which don't require much life skills to produce.
You will get much faster money, and more consistent if you just run a lot of the shadow missions.
If you see special events that gives high demand stuff, take advantage of those instead.
