- It is 6-hit fast instead of 2-hit very slow.
- It has decent repair rate.
- It cannot be reforged.
- It cannot be special upgraded or made into a spirit weapon.
- It cannot use Sword Mastery (which I was pretty positive it could in KR).
That being said, it COULD be decent, but what makes it useless in my eyes is not comparing it to other swords, rather, what is the role of two handed melee weapons (other than lances, knuckles, puppet handles, the usual new skillset)?
So is anyone else excited for how awesome Treasure Hunter's unique weapon will be? Eh? Ehhhhh?
I have no idea what it is, so that's either sincere or sarcastic. Take your pick.
The Oracle Sun Rod Colts Dualgun is 13~81 damage (compared to Golden Dowra is 33~88), 41 clip size (Golden Dowra is 64), 55 balance (compared to Golden Dowra's 48), 25 durability (so does Golden Dowra), it has slightly cheaper repair rate than Golden Dowra, and is Fast (Dowra/Golden Dowra is Very Fast, Taunes/Meriel is Normal).
That being said, it is better then the Golden Dowra because it can be enchanted, which means potentially more damage, assuming you are using other speed boosts. Neither the Oracle Sun Rod Colts nor the Golden Dowra can be special upgraded, so I consider them the best choice in guns (for normal attacks/way of the gun, not shooting rush) assuming you have no plans on special upgrading Dowras.
There is another gun called Sun Rod Colts (no Oracle), which is the same thing but weaker. Not notable, but both can use the L-Rod Exploration action. It was probably in response to people hating the Chef's Passion's irrelevance to Cooking, some useless action is better than nothing.
