Pet desummon causes DC

Sometimes when I desummon my pet I get DCed with the message "The last connection was terminated abnormally..." thing. On my old computer something happened at the same frequency in which the game would freeze for 3-15 seconds upon desummoning a pet. Sorry I can't provide much info. Anyone ever encounter this?

Edit: Other things that may or may not be relevant.

Server is NA-Alexina
Pets are Flame Mare and Crystal Deer
This computer is Windows 7
The one that froze instead of crashing was a vista

It's usually if you desummon the pet while you're still mounted on it.

Anything I can do about it? It happens even while I'm not mounted and crashing during dungeons gets annoying.

So you're saying that the pet desummon locks up the game, and if the game is locked up too long you get disconnected?

Sometimes it's also when you have a pet out for a long time before desummoning it.

On my old PC, it would only take a while. On my current one, I simply immediately DC.

Basically if you dont mind me asking, what is your OS(operating system), CPU (central processing unit), RAM (random access memory), and graphics card PCI.
it sounds like what is happening to you in your case is due to a connection problem to your router.

Simple trouble shooting tactics
Close out of mabinogi restart your PC
Boot into safe mode
check your drivers for your NIC card(network interface card)
if all the drivers check out restart into your main operating system
once there check if all cables are plugged into the pack of your modem/router
right click on mabinogi run as an administrator(if you have the privileges)
run a quick test on the pet or dolls that is causing you to disconnect mounted or non mounted.
