While I absolutely love my large ribbon, it is understood that it looks terrible with "elegant" dresses such as the Luxurious Evening Dress.
I love my succubus boots too, but will only wear them with the actual succubus outfit or with something that matches it (magus crest outfit, for example).
It's pretty disgusting when you see devil wings taped to a portia dress..
The large ribbon goes well with a lot of things, but for fancy expensive dresses? Probably not.

I've been gradually making all of my outfits dusky purple with black, gray, brown, or sometimes white trim. I have a few burgundy trim outfits that I like as well.
Navy, cream, and brown is another favorite combo.

Blacklist everyone who wears red/black, black/white, x/x, colors you don't like! Problem solved!
But no really, sure there are some players who wear outfits I'm not too thrilled about. But it's nothing that'll make me flip a shit over. Still not sure why people care so much about what colors other people use. I also find it humorous when players think they have certain "monopoly" on a certain scheme.
Not everyone gives a shit about being original. I'd rather wear something that's visually appealing to me since I'm the one who's going to be staring at my character for duration of my playtime. Couldn't care less if someone else thinks it's "overused, unoriginal, not cute, etc". Just live and let live.
I agree with this. People should wear what they like, whether or not someone else thinks its "overused". If so bothered by fashionogi style, just stop hanging around those people/hanging out in the market.

I don't like a few of the outfits that have been released either. But that's alright, because everyone has their own tastes. How "original" it is doesn't matter, as long as they like what they chose.
And people just wear whatever is suitable to their tastes. If they like to slap everything with their favourite combination of items, so be it. If that is how they're enjoying the aesthetics of their character, then all is well. It's imposing to tell someone to stop enjoying something the way they do because you don't like it. People don't like others picking on what they are really passionate about! This could be their color choice, outfit choice, etc. What they pick to their liking can become deeply personal to them themselves.
When I choose what outfits I wear in-game, I don't keep in mind of what other people think about the outfit. I pick whatever I like and run with it. All the brown, even if my bully friends call me poop. //cries

The only irritation I have with people dyeing things black/red is that they tend to be marked up more than average because of the color, even though I'll probably at least redye the red.

Large ribbons are so adorable on tiny characters! How can anyone hate them?

I personally use colors on the pink and purple scale, with whites mixed in.
For a long time it was the female magic school uniform cause its set effect, and i liked how it looked.

It's just that, when you get something that's recently released, you're stoked because it's unique.
Everyone's a little hipster a heart, we like things that make us unique, only to ditch it when it becomes popular
Quote from Froglord of DESTINY!!!;1220154:
I'm not questioning "personalisation" of people's characters, everyone's got that freedom of doing whatever they want. But really, it's not cute, it's not original, it's the same boatmast look that occures over and over again.
What I'm saying is, the lack of originality is so annoying, it's like nails on a chalkboard annoying, only you have to walk by it in game a thousand times each day.
I hope this doesn't come off a personal attack, but I'm sure someone out their feels the same way about your outfits too. As they would with mine.
