Help how do I take care of a baby bird

Has anyone have good advice on how to take care of it? I don't want it to die.

keep it in a cage

clean it poops up when it poops every day

feed it foods it can eat like worms (probably get a bunch at a bait shop for fishing as for how to take care of worms idk give them wet dirt ??)

In all seriousness though, Hanna is the one you would need to ask. If I remember correctly she was moving back to Florida, so it may be a little bit before she gets on. I would just take it to a vet and see what they have to say and also get it checked if you intend to take care of it for a bit.

He is at the learn to fly stage and the mother comes to feed them and fend off predators when they fall. If he's not injured put him back where you found him because it will mostly likely die when it's away from it's mother!

I think that's mainly there so small children won't do what Compass did. Birds don't even have noses.

Its not a myth in my experience with it. But it isn't always true either. It just is very circumstantial on if the mother finds it again or not, and by moving it the mother might not necessarily find it again.

Birds can't be domesticated, but they won't survive in the wild if you take care of it for a bit.

A lot of people take in baby birds and end up getting rid of them after they realize they can't handle raising it. This is actually considered animal abuse and you can be charged with it, since releasing a bird cared for by humans is abandonment and a death sentence.

Best to just return it, let it do its own thing. If you think it needs help, aid it in minimal ways.
