Francisca vs Glory Sword Stun time?

He went VERY easy on me at first, allowing me to put in some combos, and I noticed something.

At first, I used my Francisca along with a shield, and after 2 normal hits, (sometimes 1), I was able to smash, assault, windmill, then shield. But when he started to get serious, I was like OK BRING OUT THE GLORY SWORD (I understand it stinks, but it's the best I've got)

But.. when I tried to normal hit and smash, I couldn't. The stun time on Glory sword is 2.7 secs, compared to Francisca's 2.3 seconds, and I understand that Glory Sword's attack speed is Very Slow, while Francisca is just Slow, but it was weird.

When I used Francisca, I was able to stun and even when he Trans'ed into Infra Black, I was able to at least get a windmill in with a normal attack, but when I used Glory Sword, it's like I couldn't stun at all. I couldn't get in a smash or windmill in after a normal att.. wait, let me rephrase that: he attacked me right after I landed my first attack. There was no stun time at all..

So basically, I was able to stun with Francisca regardless of transformation (not during demi, of course), but was not able to stun with Glory Sword, not even for like a second

I'm confused. Does Transformation deny stun times? Then how come my Francisca allowed me to smash after a normal attack..? Does attack speed matter in loading a smash skill?

His auto defense rate rarely kicked in. Most of the time, the ping never happened when I tried to smash with Glory

It could be possible that both your opponent and you attacked each other with a normal attack at the same time (or close to it). It could also be due to lag.

Hmm.. Makes sense, cuz I tend to lag A LOT. But it was so weird cuz Francisca worked fine.. Maybe my Glory Sword is bugged D:

No. Glory Sword has a longer stun time than the Francisca, so the only reason you couldn't get in your smash after a normal attack was because of lag or slow reaction on your part.

Also, it's pvp where stun time is pretty much non-existent.

Bad to compare it with pvp.
