Going to take a shot in the dark and assume it means the pet will boost and/or debuff some of your skills... Though that last segment of the text make it sound like you can use 2 pets at a time. xD

It means nexon coded the item description wrong and it bleeded into the confirmation menu, it actually continues to bleed when you hit yes.
