So I started playing Skyrim again and just got done sorting out all the mods I had. I added some new ones, took out some old ones, and basically just went to town with the whole setup. Finally reached a point where I can actually play without wondering if I could make something better. This feeling prob won't last for long but until it dies I'm going with it!
Anyway wondering if anyone here plays it still and how your char looks like. Here's mine!

Pirate Orcs. Arrr.
Since my college has internet that frequently drops in and out, I've pretty much only been playing Skyrim or other offline games instead of MMOs as of right now.

i played a little skyrim before, on my boyfriends xbox 360, without cheats like i did on the pc version
suffice to say, i had fun, more fun than i did on the pc version because of cheats
although sometimes i would manipulate timing and skip days so i could force npc's to have more gold so i could sell my stuff

I'm playing Skyrim right now with around 150 mods. A few of these mods are really fucking good. Apocolypse spell pack was a big one for me.

The spells sometime glitch, like the one where as long as you keep eye contact, lasers will keep hitting enemy in short pulses, that one sometime glitch out and I can't target anything with it.
Mine have: SPERG, character creation revamp (basically allow you to pick stars you born under and which class you have like in Oblivion), Crossbow mod so I can get higher grade crossbows, Demon Hunter armor so I can carry a crossbow and pretend I am a demon hunter :P. Be Highking of skyrim. I plan to rule Skyrim someday. Beautiful follower mod, sitting animation, FNIS, UFO, the mod that fixes infinite loading screen, the one that makes every NPC run home when dragon attack or vampire attack, mutiple adoption (allow you to adopt more than 2)... etc etc.

Amazing Follower Tweaks isn't as buggy as UFO, and has the same functionality. I'd strongly recommend switching to that when you have the chance, but since UFO kinda ruins your save file if you uninstall it, I guess that's a risky choice.
The Eyes of X spells in the Apocalypse mod pack are pretty powerful on larger enemies; dragons fall very easily since it's hard not to keep the cross-hair on a dragon half the time when it's not flying. I dunno if they patched this but you can have multiple Eyes on an enemy at once, stacking on the DPS like mad at the cost of most of your magicka.
A mod I'd highly recommend is the Interesting NPCs mod. About 250 new NPCs, all with their own personal backstories and voice actors to add new life to Skyrim. Only problem is that it's huge since it's mostly audio files.

I've been thinking about replacing populated cities with interesting NPCs, removing JAWS (as it's a bit outdated and underwater combat is MIA), and possibly removing Stakado (because ENB are just generally a huge pain in the ass/FPC hit).
I fucking adore around 80% of the destruction spells (Bolide especially) though all of the trees have good stuff in them (ghost walk, anyone?). I'm also using that authors Thunderchild Dragon Shout mod, which is pretty excellent if a bit over the top.
SkyRe is the main overhaul mod, though I've used "Better Magic" in the past and it does some good things as well.

I think I have both AFT and UFO, they work in conjunction I believe. Either that or I use some other follower mod in conjunction with UFO.
I had no idea I can stack that spell, it might be a fun experiment. I sometime combine the spell with time slowing spell from "Master of time and space" mod, basically like shooting fish in a barrel for enemy and any size.
I do have interesting NPC, that is one giant file. One of the best mod out there for sure.
I also have this home mod "Aspenn Manor" I think. It works with multiple adoption mod allow like 5 kids to live there. And this house seriously kick ass, there is a fishing cage where you can fish, bee farm I think, barn where you can milk stuff. A guard house with 2 guards. Probably my favourite house mod.

My biggest issue with Skyrim mods is my greatest complaint with Minecraft maps.
Too much focus on character skins and buildings and not enough focus on exaustable content. Nexus has over 2,000 armor, weapon, and abode mods but only a small handful of new land and dungeon mods. Most Minecraft maps have a bunch of cool buildings/cities but very few dungeons or obstacle courses for me to complete.
I made a Minecraft map on the Xbox 360 version (unfortunately) that has four themed LOZ-type puzzle dungeons and at least 1~2 of them are really fucking well done. I wish most people worked on content like that.

There are a ton of explorable/dungeon maps in Minecraft. Mostly the CTM ones. Some of the better ones can easily take 30ish+ hours to complete.

Well there are two mods that add almost entire continents to the world of Skyrim. Falskaar and Moonpath to Elsweyr. Definitely two mods I recommend trying out!
As for the general "lack" of dungeon/etc content on Skyrim compared to Minecraft. Well one runs on java and the other...yea xD
Currently I have about 180 mods running on my game.

I played Moonpath to Elsweyr a long time ago and it was relatively well made. The voice acting was pretty decent on some, mediocre on some, and absolutely fucking horrible on some of the NPCs. For one of the horrible ones you could hear all the background noise of whoever provided the voice. The maps were a little linear as well, more like a dungeon instead of an open continent. Dunno how much any of this has changed since I played it. Never played Falskaar, but I have heard good things about it.
As for mods, I prefer lore friendly ones and quality of life mods. Couldn't care less about shit like TITANIS and Midas Magic. SkyRe is my preferred overhaul mod since it doesn't go completely overboard to try and change things. Sounds of Skyrim is great. Whenever I hear the bug flying sound when I am out in the world exploring I have actually swatted around in real life thinking it was a real bug near me. I have Ultimate Follower Overhaul, but I rarely use followers so this does very little for me. I have a mod that disables the random vampire attacks in towns until you actually start the DG quest line since it was bullshit to go into Whiterun after making a new game and finding 3 NPCs (especially merchants) dead. I have the Acquisitive Soul Gem mod so that I don't waste soul gems by filling them with lower level souls. I have the Convenient Horses mod so that horses aren't completely worthless. I have a mod that changes the way it treats aiming with a bow and arrow since SkyRe changes how the physics of arrows work. I have SkyUI so that the menu system isn't absolute garbage. I also have the Artifacts Enhanced mod so that special equipment, like weapons given by Deadric Princes, aren't completely fucking worthless just because you didn't wait 40 levels to get it. No Hi-res textures mods since my computer can't really handle those, sadly.

I have 202 mods xD so much armor, weapon, revamps, city/dungeon change, mobs, combat , anime, well a lot of mods xDDD and I use AFT for follower, but my favorite mod prolly deadly dragon mod.
