I signed up for a glass blowing class for next weekend and don't know what to expect exactly

glass blowing is turning a wad of molten glass around in a fire and blowing the other end of a really long pole until it shapes into something you like
youtube and google are your friend, they can give you a hint as to what you're going to expect

Hey uh why don't you just tell her about how your trip went? She was asking if anyone has ever done it. You need to calm down that was rude pls sit down thanks
I just don't get the point of going out of your way to be rude for no reason.

No, as in what they teach you, at what pace, the difficulty, ect
I already tried to google this, I found other peoples advanced pieces and links to lists of classes
Glass blowing isn't something everyone is talking about

you don't have to be a fucking bitch about it hanna
learn to google this shit your god damn self
or just wait and see it for yourself, the people won't care if you're an amateur
and i don't care if i get a infraction for this post, you don't need to be rude to somebody that answered something incorrectly

I tried blowing glass once but it cut my mouth up really badly and didn't even give me a reach around afterwards.
[S]Or is this something different?[/S]

I don't think Taycat is trying to be rude in the first post they posted, perhaps just misunderstood what they OP was requesting. Due to massive over-reactions everywhere, I was left no choice but to remove most of the posts in the thread so far. Let's keep things civil.
On topic, I have no idea what to expect, but good luck.

I know a guy who learned it professionally, but he had a severe accident and can't work in the profession anymore.

I've done the blowing/shaping part once, it was fun to do but I ended up creating a really horrible, misshapen blob of shit.
I only did the blowing/shaping though, someone who actually knew what they were doing did the preparation and then the removing of the glass thingy from the pole. So I don't know what to expect from those parts, but as long as you're careful not to touch the molten glass the shaping part is fun.
