I would say point-by-point but on the one hand success but on the other, laziness to get the crap repaired and continue on my way.
I always do complete repair and hope for the best. I don't have time to sit there and click through point by point shit, especially for partners thanks to that annoying glitch they have where you have to close the chat and talk to them for each and every point you have to do with them.
Laziness > Risk in my mind. Sorry laziness, I'm risking it :P
I haven't had to replace my gear yet despite all this laziness :chin:
The failure rate isn't as people think it is, or I'm just really lucky for over 3 years >.>
lol this.i thought i was the only one repairing complete because of laziness, sometimes i even repair anywhere/nearest npc.point by point gives too much tension while complete is just a click away and boom done haha!

I read somewhere that if do the complete repair, it is essentially the same as if you spammed point-by-point, and therefore if any of the points failed in the process, especially in the earlier points, that would therefore make the rest of the points have a lower chance of success... whereas if you did point-by-point, you could re-bless your weapon and try again.

I've always done complete repair. Regardless of rumors, theories, and evidence I've never had time or patience to sit there and repair one point, bless, repair one point, bless. (because yes I fail that much :D )

I completely repair, and usually at Ferghus. It makes my soul quiver with excitement.
