In this thread you post your anime collections, and if possible make suggestions to people who have posted about titles they might enjoy based on what they already have.
Mine works better in video form since I can't figure out how to export a nice list from this thing.

Speaking of lists, I have switched from mal to AniList as it's great for keeping track of current season.
HERE is my profile. I'd be happy to suggest something so feel free to ask:awesome:

i don't have a big list of watched animes, but my folder of legally obtained animes /cough/ is getting pretty small again
however, i do have quite a few on the queue on crunchyroll, hehe

I'm way too lazy to manage a list like that :gloom3:
I just let my media server keep track of what episodes I watched, and for anything I would like to watch I download it and add it to the server.
Currently looking for animes that have good female leads who kick ass, got these downloading: bubblegum crisis (and related series), gunslinger girl, noir, angel heart (female city hunter apparently).

well the list is literally a notepad and i just keep it in alphabetical order
once i download/watch a series, i erase it from the list
and as i watch it, i delete the episode from my hard drive (if downloaded) and whatnot
it's not too hard, to be honest...

It's a media server, so it's like having your own private netflix that has whatever shows you want, and if your home internet is good enough you can set it up to stream wherever you want.
It's called Plex

Try The Book of Bantorra. There is a scene where main heroine destroys some tanks with a slingshot and this is one of less crazy stunts she pulls. The story is great, too.

Looked up the description, sounds like read or die (fighting librarians). Does it compare to that? RoD was pretty good.

Haven't seen RoD (except for some doujins that are not to be mentioned here) but Bantorra is basically a mystery series with plenty of action and many MANY plot twists. One of my personal favourites, if I may add.

I've only seen a ROD movie or something, and I thought the main females were all pretty awesome... but then I realized the original manga/anime/whatever had a completely different cast...

For read or die you need to read the manga first, it's not a direct adaptation.
It goes manga -> OVA (movie split in 3 parts) -> series
The OVA has the main character from the manga but I don't remember about the series. I should rewatch it.
