  This is GM Tiernie, who loves common coins.
  
  Are you wondering why I love common coins? Common coins are ordianry looking coins that you can get just about from anywhere, but if you collect them during the event, you can exchange for various awesome prizes.
  
  Well~ Interested yet?
  Now I will introduce you the ordinary but attractive event~~

  Collecting common coins! It's not hard~
  Even if you just log on daily!! You can receive common coins everyday!
  
  Now, with the easily collectable coins, try to spend on SAO figures, iPad mini Retina, Beats By Dr. Dre headphones, Macbook air, etc~
  
  1. Event time
  1) Time you're allowed to get coins: 6/02 Noon - 6/25 11:59 PM
  2) Time you're allowed to spend these coins: 6/02 Noon - 6/30 11:59 PM
  3) Announcement of item winners: 7/03
  
  2. How to get coins
  1) Log on daily: 5 coins
  2) Do a daily mission: 5 coins
  3) Do a daily quest: 5 coins
  
  3. How to use the coins
  Even though you collect the coins in game, you spend them on the Mabinogi homepage! You can click on [Prize Entry] page below to use the coins.
  
  In the page, please enter the character you intend to participate the event with. Once you choose the character, you cannot change to another, so choose carefully! (When you select a character, the event page will show you how many coins the character has)
  
  When you use your coins for a prize entry, it'll use coins as shown below. When you do use the coins, the coin number won't change in-game, so you must check your event page.

  Notes:
  *You may get upto 15 coins per day, and this will reset 7:00 AM everyday.
  *Coins will be collected cumulatively in your inventory, and the item entry page will update once you log out/change channels with more coins collected.
  *After the allowed time for coin usage, the coins will automatically be destroyed.
  *The coupons for the items will be delivered via messages in the Mabinogi home page's [Account]
  *The reforges have 30 day limit
  *Some items exceeding a value of over 50,000 wons (about 50 dollars) will require you to pay 22% as a tax due to Korean tax laws.

  Reasoning. they had 3 of these events on maplestory, in the past 3 years, and none of them came to NA.

  Seems to be the Drama Iria novel. It's not the first time KR Nexon has been giving a box set of the Drama Iria Novel they have.

  Basically, here's the dillema of the event: Would you rather spend the large number of coins for slim chance of getting a Macbook Air, or would you rather get something in-game that you just have to collect ridiculous amount of coins for (70 coins for stones... come on...)? When I see the prize entry page, people seem to prefer the shittier prizes.
