can Osay do a test run of hosting nation on xenforo for a week ?

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

I don't think this would be plausible lol I don't think theres any way to really backup data like the current site (especially all the market features). Perhaps xeno would run smoother and be safer, and in turn just imagine nation with no shop features and possibly some different layout options.

If you were really interested to see what a xeno forum looks like, I'm sure you could google some up lol

now, if you want a forum or two that uses xenforo, you can check out xenforo's website http://xenforo.com/community/
you can also check out the square enix origin website http://www.enixorigin.com/forum/
as well as this website, which has a sort of "pin display case" under the sidebar info http://kh-vids.net/

those are the only websites i've joined that i have seen and used xenforo extensively...and the 3rd website even has it where posts don't count unless they reach a certain length, although i'm not sure if the developer of that addon has made it public or not

To my knowledge, the only reason we would change at this point is if there was a high security risk with the current system or some other extreme situation in which the current forums were unusable. Currently, its not really worth osays effort and losing some of the current add-ons. It would ultimately be a big trade-off of features but cost a lot of effort on our massive development team (osay).

it's been proven multiple times that vbulletin isn't exactly the most secure forum software.

all the more reason that i believe we should move on to a newer forum software.
even if we lose all the pets we love, i'd rather we have a safe forum than an unsafe one
in any case, i'd take a picture of my stats before the move if it ever happens.
