If I'm completely ignoring nostalgia I would rate them 5 > 2 > 4 > 1 > 3. I can't rate 6 because I haven't played it yet, I'm still stuck at the daycare endlessly grinding for shinies that never come.

Gen 6 is too easy, pretty bland, and no post end-game content
Gen 1 isn't balanced.

I don't know the gen but white/black 2 takes the cake. Every gym leader, best soundtrack (opinion), still places to see even after the main story ended, and the story was actually quite nice.
