Meet Ringo, I was on my way to my glass blowing class when I notice something in the road. I thought it was a bird and there was a car coming on the otherside when I noticed it was a kitten. I slammed on the brakes and go out of the car to stop the car coming on the other side and he ran to me meowing. I immediately made a beeline to the vet. He was tested for feline leukemia, negative. He has ear mites and a shit ton of fleas along a bad upper respitory infection. He's only five weeks old, I'm on my way home at the moment where I'm going to clean him up and give him his meds. He will be okay but he has to be quarantined in a carrier for 2 weeks in my room.
Someone most likely dumped him in the woods after he got sick

God bless you, Hanna, for doing things that many people can't be bothered to, or can't afford to.
Ringo is going to make a fast and strong recovery, I just know it! Hang in there!

this is why i love you hanna
you'll stop and grab a kitten on the brink of death and bring it back to life without a care for how expensive it might be

I don't say this often, but... I wish my care for animals was as big as yours.
Would normally have an excuse, but i dont have one.

this morning after his bath, he had so much dirt and fleas running off of him, the towel I dried him off with was covered in dead fleas
protip: dawn dishsoap is easy on their skin but annihilates fleas and ticks

it's really expensive to fly him through delta dash, it would cost at least a few hundred dollars.
i've flown cats to their new homes before though, but they paid. the good thing about flying is it only takes a few hours and they can be sedated so they sleep through the whole thing.

soo if a nationer were to adopt this cat they could potentially meet you and do something fun ?
