I dont know where you are implying that. However the bill lists all the amounts, how much you used, your package price. It all adds up. Bell is more pricy. But thats ALL I HAVE.

Yeah we're pretty fucked. there's no affordable options comparable to European or Asian countries where 100 Mbps up/down is considered normal.
People try to defend that saying those countries are smaller and all that bullshit but that makes no sense. Look at what google is doing (and now several other ISPs also trying to keep up). They're targeting individual cities, not the entire country. Canada has a handful of densely populated cities that are entirely logical to network with fiber and easily offer 100 Mbps to everyone, but noooope.

We use Telus, and it's treated us very well. I don't know what you guys are on about.

B>100 mb/s download speed internet.
At my parents' place, it's a good 1.2 mb/s. At my girlfriend place, same company, same contract, 500 kb/s. Rarely reaching 1 mb/s.

When Canadians want better internet, they move to Europe.
Unfortunately for most of America or Canada there simply is no better option for internet.

As a country, canada is big, but not all its land is used asmuch as other countries. So getting internet in a small town far away from a city is not an easy feat.
Bell is crummy, but besides Telus and Rogers and Xplornet. Thats about it. Most places only have access to one or two at most, if any at all. Borderline Amish in terms of internet to half of canada.
Atleast we got good looking girls, bacon, hockey and poutine.

Well when I talk about good internet I completely ignore non-urban areas. There's no excuse for the main cities of Canada to not have top tier internet easily accessible to anyone at very affordable prices.
If I try really hard I can probably get 100/100 at my house, but I'll have to start a "fake" business, claim my house is a non-residential building, and pay multiple thousands of dollars setup fee and easily 600+ $ per month for the line itself.
I can also get 100 mbps download speed but a shitty, non-proportional 20 mbps upload for about 200$ a month, and it has a 250 GB/m limit. I don't consider that good quality, and 200$ is not "accessible".

I am pretty happy with my DSL connection, gets about 500kb/s during download. Best of all, not crappy limit per month, I can download whatever I want for however long I want, monthly limit can go suck a potato.
