Dex decrease every time I rank up a skill

What I am doing in game is training flame burst, water canon and some other alch skills by sunning SMs. And I notice that my dex is keep decreasing.

This is how much dex I have.

After doing few test, I found that my dex decrements is due to a skill rank up.

Do anyone in here have an explanation for it ?

Try taking off the Heavy Armor before ranking a skill, it's most likely related.

(As in recalculating your stats every time it ranks up a skill, but the game forgets the initial penalty from Heavy Armor Mastery so it just decreases it more and more every time you rank a skill.)
