Me and two friends where running Formor Attack Elite. While our stronger friend was off soloing a room (or two lol), me and our weaker friend tackled a room on our own (not even knowing it was elite lol) I wasn't taking things serious and got my ass handed to me soon after my bud got KO'd on the other side of the room, dropping his bellfox ears or whatever they're called. I dropped my Starry Wizard hat and Heater shield just a few seconds after him. (Thank you archer crit mag through defense~ <3)
Anyway, our friend soon walked in and quickly KO'd a few of the mobs before reviving our bud.
Right before my eyes and just before he asked about it, I watched his bellfox ears poof. We could not find them anywhere. Not in anyone's inv or anything. Shortly after the mission he rushed to the lost and found to find the item was not there. He's since submitted a ticket but I've just got to ask, with this being my first time EVER seeing this crap happen...
Has it ever happened to any of you guys?
(Also I'm not sure if this should go into questions thread or talk thread.)

It seems as though it somehow dropped or literally shifted to an area that is unreachable on the map.
I've never heard of this issue before.
Speaking of the possible shift in placement, the mobs at NPC tourney keep shifting near the sidelines for me and for some reason I can't shoot them with my arrow there. Just started happening today.

The npc value of the ears was probably low, items with a low npc value disappear extremely fast when dropped.

But that person wasn't logged out and didn't neglect to pick it up after being revived.
Unless, for some reason, dropped items start the timer thing even when you're still dead with your feather up.

I'd have to say that they disappear if you're not revived with in the time, and pick them up. Because I've had this happen to me and my friend on many occasions, where we died, and something dropped and we wouldnt get revived for 3 minutes or so, then while we were still dead, we saw the item disappear. Good thing they werent much.

Wow, so the timer really does start even when you're still dead?
That sucks.

The problem with that is that it was less than 3 minutes. I was knocked out longer than him really. I died a bit after him and dropped 2 items, and after the room was cleared they got me back up, which took not too long, but I was out longer than he was.
I've never heard of items poofing on a timer after being KO'd before they were revived. I've had people sit for at least 5-10 minutes in missions/dungeons before (most of the time because no one knew they were KO'd) and never have their items poof.
If something really is broken, then I hope this gets the word out then.

If you get KO'd and then KO'd again with items on the ground, the timer continues to tick.
Also 0g items vanish extraordinarily fast.

I'm going to have to say this is the issue. The timer does not start when you die, ever. You could be dead for days, leave the mission, idle for another week, go through a server restart, and as long as you didn't revive, the item should be within a few feet of your body. If you choose to revive on the spot, your item is then treated like a personalized drop. If this isn't how it is functioning, there must be a glitch of some sort that is either extremely rare or very recent.

I mean, that's how i always have understood the drop feature, and have never seen it do anything else.

He was only KO'd once before they vanished. I don't know if they vanished a few moments before he was revived, or the second he was revived.
But either way, this whole thing about 0g items vanishing fast is a load of bull shit. Why is that even a thing?

So cheap ass stuff wouldn't clog the game's ground forever.
