No, NO! I'm tired of your bs! Bravely Default is a good game, more over it's a good JRPG. While it may have had it's stumbling blocks the first few chapters to me made up for it. (I also genuinely enjoyed findings out the difference between worlds in the latter chapters though) You've grown spoiled Mozendo. It's not a good JRPG, it's an overhyped beginner JRPG that got attention because it's an RPG published by Square Enix that wasn't related to Final Fantasy 13.

Yeah, the first few chapters are decent, it does not make up for the garbage afterwards, and if we were to judge games from early on gameplay then a lot of games would be good rather than average like Tomb Raider (2013)

But I already played Shin Megami Tensei IV and Devil Survivor and Etrian Odyssey! THERE IS NOTHING LEFT ON THE 3DS

Sure it's not the same as the old classics but if you're not going to move on from that point, then nothing in the current generation will ever appeal to you.

Since when do I hate all the current gen games? Don't really see how you came to that conclusion, and I don't like all the classics as hinted above when I said I hate Chrono Trigger.
I like games regardless of gen if they're good.
And Etrian Odyssey is my second favorite series along with Dragon Quest IV is the most fun I had with my 3DS, and SMT IV is a great entry game for beginners and just a solid game for veterans. Not the best in the mainline series.

The way the game presents it's story is what bugs me the most along with the incredibly bland characters.
The story's narrative is inconstant. In some eras the story is pretty simple, some are more fleshed out and it's due to Yuji Horii from Dragon Quest fame and Hironobu Sakaguchi from Final Fantasy fame both working on the story. Where Horii puts a focus on simplistic stories Sakguchi puts a focus on fleshed out ones. It really bothers me as to why the quality of the narrative was inconsistent.

This is why I find the characters bland also, they have personalities, but the characters themselves don't feel "genuine".

Due to the above to I felt it was more of a chore to progress through Chrono Trigger and is why I don't like the game.

Music is fantastic though I really love Yasunori Mitsuda.
