Well FF XXX has already been... wait never mind.
Anyways, I'll try it out for the PS3.... maybe. Same price as every other new game right?

I thought they wanted to stop making Final Fantasy because the generation of gamers don't like RPGs. :o

Ugh... I'm going to try it. If I like the gameplay, I guess I'll buy the actual game when it comes out...
Stupid fatigue system.

After learning more about the fatigue system, I actually like it.
Yeah, I went there. It stops is becoming 'OMG MUST PLAY TO STAY IN FRONT OF/KEEP UP EVERYONE ELSE'.
Instead you can play your 8 hours worth of EXP, and then play another game if you want, or keep playing to get some more gold/items.

And it's 8 hours worth of solo EXP.
So you can grind for 8 hours straight solo, or grind for 12 hours with a buddy, or grind for 24 hours in a 4man team.

The fatigue system ain't so bad, it keeps people from grinding all day long.

If I'm paying per month to play, i better be able to grind all night long if i wish.
The system works something like this. Grind for 8 hours, every hour after that you get less EXP. After another 8 hours, 0 EXP gain for the week.
Basically your paying 12-15 per month to grind for 64 hours a month maximum. This game is suppose to have a really high level cap i believe.
Keep in mind, there are 744 hours in a month, maximum. Granted you won't spend that much time playing FF. They still shouldn't tell you when you can and can't level up.

Its the result of a terrible level up system that didn't have much thought put into it.
Its the easy way out for almost every mmo developers now. Vindictus did it, DFO did it. FF14 is doing it.

wolfram wrote on 2010-08-31 19:58
I don't mind Vindictus and DFO since they are F2P.

Level up systems are horrible in general
Edit: Lol
