That our governments are the hippies from the 60's who preached "save our children, give them a future" etcetc.

Now, they're 60+ something year old pensioners with 6 digit salaries, they steal, they murder, they even stir up wars for money they don't even really need. The 90's generation, and onwards have no way to pay for school, because these government pensioners want to suck every last penny out of the education system, for no real reason except to have dinner parties with their lobbyist bum buddies.

I would really like to see what would happen when these assholes die off. Who's gonna run anything when they've deprived 2 whole generations of people of their abilities to succeed in life or to take off where they apparently decided to abandon humanity for their stomachs.

A young adult in the 60s would range from around 70 to 150 in age today. The biggest thing a 'hippie' stands for is anti-war, and it has diminished significantly. Do you expect to live in a utopia free of crime or murder because a portion of the population wanted it 50 years ago? I don't like crime, murder, or war either, but that doesn't make me immune to it. None of it is related to the pension issue.

Even if you make it into power with the intent of changing it, you had to play the game to get there, so once you get there, you find that the system is working pretty well for you. This is a generalized and simplified statement, but it's true overall.

Even when you try to break the flow and do right, you'll find it is pretty difficult, if not impossible at times. Until we find some miracle solution to getting money out of politics, you can't win.
