Is it okay if I start building my pc a bit early.

  Anywho, I've been following this build that Compass had made for me (Thanks so much for that) and I have purchased every part except the graphics card which will be coming sometime next week. So while waiting I've been really bored. So my question is if I could start putting it together now to pass the time. Would that be okay?
  
  Also any more tips for my first time building a pc would be highly appreciated.

  Yeah it'd definitely would be fine, it'll even be useable since the processor has a integrated graphics card, and despite what people say the intel HD 4X00 line isn't that terrible. You should be playing earlier gen games on 720p on medium.

  Edit 2: Since PCPartPicker is based on sales before you buy the graphics card make sure if there's a better one you can buy. I can't really recommend the R9 270 at that price when a few dollars more you can get the R9 270X. (AMD has reduced the price of their graphics card after you asked for help.)
  
  But in case there's any deeper discounts look for the GTX 760 and the R9 280
  
  R9 280 > GTX 760 > R9 270X
  The GTX 760 stays in the $230~ price range while the R9 280 has gone as low as $200.
  MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus make good cards, been told Sapphire does too. Avoid XFX cards they overheat like crazy.

  I'm kind of having trouble installing the the motherboard though. It freaks me out and I feel like I may break it with the slightest touch. Someone told me drinking makes this easier. I can't drink though.

  When it comes to installing the motherboard, the main thing to be careful of is the chassis standoff placement. These things are standoffs, in case you didn't know:

  You need to make sure that only 6 of them are installed in the chassis, and that all 6 are in the correct position relative to the mounting holes on the motherboard. Sometimes, the chassis will have some standoffs pre-mounted, sometimes not in the required position. Not checking this could cause a short and damage your board. :0
  
  Another thing worth mentioning is that some cases come with "standard" I/O shield plates (the plates with all the holes for the ports at the back of your PC). These won't fit many boards--board come with their own. I didn't look at your case, but if it comes with one already installed, you'll need to take it out and put in the one that came with your board.

  There are two holes on the bottom left and right that I did not use and that may be hard to see. Though I did use 4 in total.
  I think my placement is correct and well the case came with its own standoffs. I'm now questioning my placements though. I'll try and look over that.
  
  I also already installed the motherboard's plate that had come with it. So I did something right.[S]I hope[/S]

  Don't worry you got that right, the other holes are for ATX boards.
  
  Also I'm pretty sure you know this but don't the the RAM modules together, put them in the same color sockets so 1 + 3 or 2 + 4.

  If you could save up $30 more dollars for a MSI branded (or Asus and Gigabyte) R9 280 that'd be great. It really is a step up from the other graphics cards. But it's okay if you don't want to, the R9 270X still gives good performance

  Well, you could get a better cooling system, mine runs at room temp if nothing cpu or graphic intensive is running.
