Dead Island 2 is being made by the people who made Spec Ops: The Line, the people who made the original are making Dying Light.

Nothing at fucking all.
Gaming went full idiotic dumbed-down crap. If I can hope for anything good, it will be from indie developers.
Though, maybe just one thing: Elite: Dangerous, big fan of the original series. Hoping this delivers and it's not another fuck-up that vomits all over an amazing classic series.
But my expectations are not high.

Actually Thief is pretty good when you up the difficulty, deactivate retarded hints, and made it through the donkey [S]cock[/S] kong sucking prologue.
Legend of Grimrock was also a great game, but I guess you don't let that count since it's a small developer.
Back to the list:
Risen 3 sounds interesting. Gothic was always my favourite RPG series, and Risen is made by the same developer.
The Evil Within sounds sexy.
Alien: Isolation does look interesting, but I'm wary because it's CA, whom I distrust with pre-release material after the epic advertising desaster Rome 2 was.
Witcher 3 isn't even a question. They have to fuck up extremely for me not to buy it.
Star Citizen has been on my ocassional watchlist for a while now.
No Man's Sky looks pretty cool, but let's see if they can deliver. Very ambitious. Even more than Star Citizen.
Bloodborne is a no-brainer. If I have to, I will get a PS4 just for that.
Cyberpunk 2077 is worth keeping an eye out for.
Kingdom Come looks veeeeeeeeeery interesting. I don't know how they want to fulfill the promise of realistic period combat though.
Mirror's Edge 2? Sign me the fuck up.
Aside of that:
City of Titans is also very ambitious, and I'm also looking forward to it a great deal. I don't know if it actually can be released before 2017.

Yes, Grimrock was good, but real-time combat in blobbers tend to suck, you'll find yourself dancing back and forth, I wish they had made it turn-based like Wizardry.

I love it the way it is. Makes you have to be very careful, especially around ogers.
