Shadowy event not working

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. If you have no space, you will not receive the manual despite the NPC saying that she will give you another one. Make sure you have a 2x2 spot open for the manual.

I can confirm it.
This happened to me too at first. Didn't get manual because of lack of space. After talking to Abelia with 2x2 spot free, she gave it to me and got exp like I should have.
Also, keep in mind that weak and weakest mobs don't count (that's for all others not getting exp).

I see, its because i did not have any space in my inventory so i did not get the book. a friend asked me if i had one and i did not, i guess the NPC will not give you the book unless you have space.
