Looks like there is a revival coodown now. It wants you to wait 122 more seconds before reviving in place.

If I remember correctly there's a cooldown when you use the 'Revive Here' method now, the numbers are telling you how many seconds until you can use it again I think

Literal translation: It hasn't been long since your previous revival. Try again after 122 seconds.
Basically they're encouraging you to not die.

Oh....interesting. This was actually part of KR's Dunbaraton Renewal back when the Dream Update came out. Interesting that NA would choose now of all times to implement that :chin:

Oh wow. That kind of sucks after playing for a long time being used to be able to revive right away always. I understand that there should be downsides to dying, but the exp loss was enough of a downside if you chose to revive on spot, in my personal opinion. This is just a waste of time. I never really use revive on spot myself so it does not affect me much but I never got the point of things in games that make you wait. I call things like that "the waiting game."

It's bad enough it affects commerce... And it's also bad enough that you get revived with miniscule HP and can get immediately KO'd again.
Just why the heck was it implemented? Wtf was Devcat thinking?

For Nao/Guardian stones? Pft, they're relatively cheap.

There are a few reasons why.
- Everyone revives on spots during raids, making clerics useless.
- Personally I never felt like the experience loss was a threat at all. The wounding is kind of annoying but it still means nothing now days. A cooldown on the other hand would be more encouraging.
Personally, I think it should have had a cooldown from the start. People always get pissed when you add a nerf to the game that didn't previously exist, even if that nerf is legitimate and nobody would have complained if it was added from the start.

Its just a waste of time though. The cleric revive requirement is easily done with the party feather workaround, and if they fix that then people are just going to skip it or leave entirely. Maybe death is let off too lightly in open world, but I don't see this as a good solution.
