I've played around with a LOT of cheap tablets before and I can tell you that none of them are worth their cheap costs.
This isn't even a matter of "you get what you paid for". You don't get anything. Cheap plastic that pretends to run for about a month before they stop functioning.
You want a functional tablet, you start at 150 absolute minimum (used price; we're looking at ~200 new). Anything less and you'll just want to keep that money. Maybe you can get a chromebook instead.

I use a Small Wacom Bamboo Craft Pen & Touch (not a fan of the touch function doe). Been using it since 2011 now. Surprised I have not changed my Pen Nibs not once yet since then. I forgot how much I got mine for since it was a Christmas present. However on most places it is listed for $79.99.
I don't know how my tablet has survived for this long. I'm starting to question it after hearing about a lot of my friends' tragic lost for their expensive tablets because I don't even give my tablet any special treatment. :L

With cheap tablets, you more or less get what you pay for.
That said, I found my Hisense Sero Pro (NOT the 7 LT which stinks) to be fairly solid for a cheaper tablet. CNET has it listed for $130, but I got mine for ~$90 I think? Obviously it wont match up to the much more expensive tablets (its built in camera for instance is pretty bad), but the battery life is great and it's got a slot for micro-sd cards.

Wait you ARE talking about touchscreen tablets, right? Not drawing tablets?
